I have always had such appreciation and respect for textile artists. On my trek to find artists before opening the gallery I discovered textile artist, Martha Ginn. I was fortunate enough to visit her in her home in Hattiesburg, MS, with my husband and driftwood artist, Jason Davis.
During our visit we were introduced to her family of cats, Elizabeth, Rahrah and the late beloved Tarbaby, each with personalities and hijinks that Martha cherishes. It is this spirit of fun and joy that Martha has that that creates such a connection to her many fans and friends.
Martha Ginn's techniques and impeccable details demand your attention, and you become beguiled by her unique creative expression. We are proud to carry Martha's work in the gallery and her work is in high demand. We have new collection of tabletop thread paintings that make terrific gifts, quilted postcards, notecards featuring some of her larger framed pieces and framed wall art.
I enjoy following Martha on her blog and encourage you to watch the attached video produced by students at the University of Southern Mississippi to learn more about beloved, talented artist, Martha Ginn.
