The soap petal flower idea came about in a different way. My mother-in-law went into the hospital, and I wanted to give her something that she could visually enjoy and then take home to use. I was making bar soaps at the time, so I made orchid bar soaps and put them on skewers and into a vase to create an arrangement. After she was back home, I asked her if she had used the soap. She said, no, if she used it once, she would mess it up. On the way home, I was wondering how she could visually enjoy the flower and use the beneficial soap too. That’s when the idea came for creating artisan soap flowers with multiple petals, which I believe was inspired by God’s grace. When pulling a petal from the outside, it leaves the remaining bloom intact to keep enjoying visually.
