Garden of Dreams, 2023
20 x 18 x 1.25 in
I remember those hot summer days of playing outside in my grandmother's garden when I was a child. The smell of fresh flowers blooming takes me back to the times of infinite dreaming and imagining. The bold, red colors of this piece are just like her azaleas, camellias, and lilies. Her bright beautiful flowers were the back drop to my imaginative lands. I love how the reds ad yellows in this piece transport me to a dreamland, just like my grandmother's garden.
