Register today for the Pacesetter Plein Air Painting Competition Renaissance at Colony Park! The event will take place on October 7th at 1000 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS. Artists will meet at the fountain outside Renaissance Cinema Bar & Grill at 1:30 PM to sign in and get their canvases and paper stamped with painting to begin at 2:00 PM ending at 6:00 PM. The map of included and excluded areas will be emailed after registration with additional details. Immediately following artists will have from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM to put their art in their frame and for hanging in the show and judging. At 6:30 PM all artists, their families and collectors are welcome to attend the artist's reception for beverages and light hors d'oeuvres. All art must be a 5"x7" or larger for this painting event and ALL art must be set into a frame ready to hang for display at Renaissance and be available for sale with the gallery receiving a gallery standard percentage. Best of Show will receive a cash prize of $1000 with additional cash prizes for Best Oil, Best Watercolor, and Best Pastel, Best Acrylic and Mixed Media and certificates for 1st-3th place for oil, watercolor, acrylic/mixed media and pastel. Any awarded pieces not purchased at the opening will hang throughout the month of October at the first Pacesetter Renaissance at Colony Park Show!
