Teen Art Camp Join us for our Pacesetter Summer Camp! Each week-long camp meets from 12 PM-2 PM Monday through Friday and includes Chinese Brush Painting Kit. During the 10 hours of instruction we will learn to paint using the soft martial art of Chinese brush painting. This painting style accelerates the understanding of how to use value, brush, and stroke in works of art.This class will be great to increase comfort in the gallery setting and understand more about how a gallery works. We will discuss what a professional gallery is looking for in artists, gallery etiquette, how to write a personal biography as an artist. We will regularly reference the artwork on the gallery walls to practice art criticism and aesthetics discussions throughout the class. This camp is for 8th-12th graders who love to draw and want grow their skills and will allow for one-on-one personal development, starting where your student is working toward improving and adding to their skills. Available Sessions: June 5-9, 12-16, 19-24, 26-30 (no camps the week of July 4th) July 10-14, 17-21, 24-28.
